July 12, 2007 is the end of the comment period for proposed regulations that would essentially end retail sales and manufacturing of ammunition, powder and primers.

The information and new article is on the National Shooting Sports Foundation site. I don't have the link. I think it is nssf.org./news/PR_idx.cfm?PRIoc=common/PR/PR=BP070207.cfm

Probably easier just to go to the web site and look for news articles. The story is pretty dramatic in it's implications for the firearms and ammunition industry as a whole.

The article is asking for comment period extension of 60 days.
