Hi.  Can someone tell me the proper procedure for obtaining a battlesight zero on an AR15A2?  It's been too many years, and I only ever shot the A1 variety, anyway.

Thanks much,
Brian

I believe a 25 yd zero will place you at 250 yd zero. It`s been a while for a battle zero for me too

As its been posted many times (search not working again?) YOU WILL NOT GET A 250M ZERO by zeroing at 25 YARDS.

For a complete list of zeroing methods check out the 'Zeroing Methods' section at http://communities.msn.com/TheMarylandAR15ShootersSite

You will find the methods for zeroing A1 rifles and A2 rifles (btw the Military screwed this one up and the rounds will hit high at 300M).  Better yet go with LTC Santose's Improved Battlesight Zero (listed first).  Its easy to do, requires a 50 yard range, gives a nice flat trajectory, and the number on the A2 dial will actually work.
