 --------------------------------------------------- Lohan Allegedly Coked Up During Car Crash Posted Jun 28th 2007 2:03PM by TMZ Staff Filed under: Celebrity Justice, Lindsay Lohan Lindsay Lohan was allegedly drunk and had cocaine in her system during an early morning smash-up in Beverly Hills on Memorial Day weekend. According to multiple law enforcement sources, toxicology reports conclude that Lohan, 20, had "nearly twice the legal limit" of alcohol and traces of blow in her bloodstream when she crashed her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible into a curb on Sunset Blvd. around 5:30 AM on May 26. In California, drivers with a .08 or higher are legally drunk. Police tell TMZ Lohan and two other adults were in the car at the time of the accident. After the crash, she was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries, then placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI. Cops later said they found a "usable amount" of cocaine in the car. We're told that the Beverly Hills Police Dept. could present the case to the Los Angeles D.A. in the next few days. Lohan's lawyer, Blair Berk, told TMZ, "It's highly inappropriate for me to discuss a pending case." Berk added, "It is extremely unprofessional for law enforcement to do it." |

+1 A friend's spouse had a good, 6-figure job, big house, Harley, etc. This was all pissed away (including the marriage) in favor of coke. Now the spouse is in and out of prison on multiple felony drug charges. Talk about a huge fall from the top. |
I definitely think jail time should incur. Unlike what some celebrity apologists say, it's not to punish them because they are rich/famous. It's because if I crashed my Mercedes while high on blow - I'd be in a pound-me-in-the-ass prison in no time. It should be no different for celebrities.

I grew up around people with a lot of access to good coke and money to burn. Some of them developed pretty serious coke problems. Do all of y'all saying "I would hit that" have any idea what a cokehead will do for blow and with whom? Let's just say I wouldn't hit that with tongs and a 60 curie road source lead suit at this point. You have no idea -- no idea -- what you could catch. Coke makes the humanity drain right out of you and you are left with an animal. |

Lohan + 5 years = Dana Plato. Cute as tweener movie filler. Can't carry a movie, bad work habits on the set. She'll move to B's, then that will dry up, then she'll snort what money she has, then multiple failed rehabs later she'll be knocking over liquor stores. |
