I know this may be more of a general question, but I like you AR guys better! I have $1,000 burning a hole in my pocket and can't decide how to spend it. It's been months now. Here's what I'm thinking.

-buy another complete AR since I only have two.
-buy parts to build my first AR since I've never built one.
-buy another caliber like a 6.8 or 308.
-buy a 1911 style handgun since I only have Sig's and Glocks.
-buy a FAL
-buy $1,000 worth of ammo and mags.
-Be a responsible adult and put the money into my 401k or use it to pay bills. (highly unlikely)

What say you, AR15.com?

You have to have one 1911 in your collection so I would go with that, then save up and build another AR in a different caliber.

+1 on the 1911. For that money, you could get yourself a nice one, or buy a decent one like my Taurus 1911 and buy a crapload of ammo for it. Either way, you should be happy.

Invest it for a year or 2 and then decide between buying a FN SCAR, Masada or an XCR
