Ok, here I try again.
(the 1858 has a cartridge conversion, 45LC)
The knife is an old one from my great grandfather. (not totaly tacticool, but its old and not broke or lost yet)
Regular beverage..plain old beer
No stapler, no measuring device....no distractions.
Neighbors have a day care center.....there were about 20 little kids in teh back yard...so hauling an AR out was probably socialy unacceptable (simply because it is around teh time parents come pick up kids...I do not need or want to deal with hastles)

pork loins (slathered in "bone suckin sauce"), salt and garlic potatos.

OK.....I decided to be a bad neighbor,
is a Swiss "ARMY" knife considered tacticool?

A much better effort than last time.

I had cooked the meat and taters in the oven at 300 degrees for 2 hours on a cooking stone in foil.
The taters just needed to be browned on the outside a little (they were floating in a combo of olive oil and butter), they looked raw but I think it was a combo of flash and sunlight.

Mags were both full, one 20 rounder has my own reloads, (LC brass, 24gr or IMR4895, under a 68gr BTHP, cci primer) 30 rounder full of wolf.

GF has put the kabash on "guns on the table"or I could have done a totaly finished product., something about $3500..wood...scratching..blah blah blah...heirloom.

I ate the food right off the grill, I said "well if there are no guns allowed on the table, I guess I will no longer eat off it either" (Hopefully this gives me free reign to eat outside or on the couch.)

She gave me a strange look when I gave her plate of food to her inside and than pulled a chair up to the grill and started eating right their, only using my big old knife. Yes I let it cool down first. She asked if I was drunk

I'm going to subtract for having the Ban compliant AR and no rear back up sight. I know the first part is not fair but neither is life.

I'll give you an extra point for the off the wall beer. I'm not convinced that I would buy it but I would like to try it.

I'll give you a bonus point if you straighten your girl out about that no firearms on the table shit. I mean shit, y'all put knives on the table, don't you?

For now, 7.5 out of 10 (it's really just arbitrary.)

Edited to add +1 for the gas grill.

8.5

However!!...

That first pic with nothing but meat and potatoes and beer and a knife and six shooters gives me pause and I give you an honorary 10 for preparation. With the exception of the propane grill a good ol' boy from 100 years ago could look at it and know something good was happening.
