I was talking to a friend about a document that has been passed around on this forum that is from the ATF or FBI that warned readers that constituaional following citizens were something to be weary of. If you have this page please post it. Thanks. |
You're off on the document... It warned readers that posse-comitatus, 'natural law' and similar abusers of the Constitution were something to be aware of... These are folks who say the Constitution does not permit local municipalities to have police, and will shoot a cop for 'assaulting them' if he tries to stop them for speeding... But some here took it out of context... |

I recall something about this! In the academy years ago, the instructors passed around a little card that they said we might be handed during a routine traffic stop. It stated something to the effect of LEO's not having power over citizens because it was unconstitutional and that the cardholder was immune to any type of apprehension/question due to some obscure US code. We were told that if we ever were presented with a card like this to immediately notify the shift supervisor, call for backup, and to treat the stop as a felony stop from that point forward. I work in BFE Georgia, and I've not seen one since the academy, but I'll look for the text of the card in my old notes/handouts and try to post the text at some point if someone does not beat me to it. |
| Stick around some of those guys appear around here periodically. Seems like the only ones that really know what the Constitution really means are them, not 200 plus years of established law, not the courts, not the Legislatures, not the Law schools, the guys that slept through Civics know the real truth. |
