Has anyone made it out to the Ft Worth gun show yet and if so, is it worth the hour drive from Dallas? Thanks in advance

I went to the Ft. Worth gun show a few weeks ago and it was pretty busy. There were a TON of vendors there. Its really picked up since 9/11. Before 9/11 the shows were small but there were always good deals to be found. After 9/11 seems like all of the good deals had dissappeared.[:(]

I am heading there tomorrow. Sure hope I can find a deal or 2. Need to pick up some things and have been holding out for it. Guess we will find out tomorrow.

I found some 30rnd Orlites at the Dallas show for $5 a piece. They were badly beaten up but I bought a few that were not cracked or chipped. I took them apart, cleaned them up, painted the mag bodies with black BBQ grill paint and they look good as new! You might want to keep an eye out for those......
