Allright, i hate their politics, but... The music is undeniable(carter beauford Fn' rocks). Probably the most talented current band(IMHO). Ive seen them three times and have always walked away impressed. So lets hear from the DMB fans. Non fans need not apply.

I honestly could care less about a band's politics if the band rocks.  DMB does rock.

Talent?

*faints*

I won't poo poo on all you Dave lovers, but really, listen to Gov't Mule if you think DMB is "talented".

I happen to like them. I first saw them in 1995 opening for the Dead in Vegas. Carter sat in with the Dead during the drum solo. It was amazing.

I love DMB (yes, their politics are poop) and go to 4-5 concerts a year.

Anyone that says they are not talented is judging them by the radio stuff and has never seen them live.  Go screw.

All their music sounds the same to me, and I don't like that song.

Remember when their roadie dumped the tour bus's holding tanks off a bridge into the Chicago river....right onto a tour boat?

Why should their tour bus dumping shit on people surprise anyone? They've been dumping shit on the public for years with their easy listening 'rock' music.

Ive been to 40+ concerts. Everywhere from Tornoto to West Point to Giant's Stadium to Alpine Valley Wisconsin. First one was in 1994. Did the CD/DVD/Viedo show trading for a long time but havent doen any trading in 4 or so years. I have probably close to 500 shows (2-3 discs a piece) in my basement that i just dont have time to listen to anymore. Have met Dave, Carter and Stefan.

Phenomonal musicians all around especially Carter and Stefan. Im getting a little bit older and admitedly the 5 shows a summer phase is passing me by. We hit 2 shows a year, camp and make a weekend out of it. They have and will continue to be Road Warriors. The shows are stil very, very solid even amidst Ticketmaster's ridiculous price scheme. Add great opening act's and an ever evolving guest spot on stage and you have a really great concert experience.

Their collective politics aside, they really do donate alot of money to very, very good causes and do it much more humbly then people like Bono and similar "rockstars" of the same ilk.

Glad to hear there is some fellow fans on good ol' arfcom

Dangit, it's COULDN'T care less, not could.  If you COULD care less, it means there is something else that you care less or more for the subject than something else which really means nothing.

Otherwise, I agree with the quotee deleted.
