OK here's the scenario.  If in a week no replacement parts for the AR15 will no longer be available.  What parts do you stock up on  in that week?  Please put in order of importance.  CYa![thinking]

For me, I'd say:
springs

A well-equipped machine shop with a good supply of high-carbon and stainless steel, and a large forge. Draw plates (to make the wire for springs), and the full-scale blueprints for the AR in question

Parts?

Heck with that, as many more AR's as you can afford! They'd be the next thing "not" available!
