Underneath the floor pad in the safe's interior is a small hole for electrical cords.........

Alternatively, you can drill a small hole the diameter of the cord in the back,  since the plug attaches to the cord afterwards.  I took this approach.  All you need is a metal drill bit. The safe is secure, but it's just metal, and all metal is drillable.

Look at the safe from behind. If your safe has one, the hole for the cord should be near the lower right corner. It's probably only about 1/8" or so - just enough for a cord to fit through.

If you didn't order the de-humidifer rod or interior lighting for the safe when it was made, it might not have a hole drilled.

Did not order one when it was made & was under the impression there was a pre drilled hole, but dang if I can find it any place.

Guess it did not come with that hole pre drilled

Guess I'm going blind

Pulled everything out of the safe & tore the floor apart looking for a hole of some kind, never found a thing.

Guess I'll pull everything out again & see if I missed it the 1st time round

Only hole my old 80;s Fort Knox has is some threaded bolt welded to the top center. No bottom holes. While i dont know why they put the hole on top, I can guess it was so they could be easily moved at the factory.

If it;s old like mine youll need to drill it.
