Anybody have an idea what a Springfield .308 tanker garand in very good condition should be worth? I have a fella looking at my Savage tactical 10fp .308 with envy. He wants to trade. The Savage is a 1/4" rifle. I don't wanna trade really, but if the value is there, I just might have to.

If it's a Springfield Armory Inc tanker probably around $ 500. If Arlington or Fed Ordnance $350-400. Don't have a Blue book handy but the Springfield Inc tnkers are listed..

I paid $750 for mine.  Mixed #'s of course, but otherwise pristine.  Navy conversion, 7.62NATO stamped on stock.  My allaround favorite firearm.
