The wife was messing around with both of our new phones recently and made me a couple of decent ones. The theme from The Unit. I'm an ELO fan (although around here I should have kept that to myself) so she took an excerpt from an ELO song....Hello....there's no one answering...If you could just let it ring a little longer...if you would just pick up that telephone.. Kinda cool. I like that Taliban one but am afraid I'd get in trouble at work. |

I cut the guitar solo out of a favorite song of mine... 'Something About You' by the Dramagods (you can find the video for it on Myspace... maybe on Youtube) My text message alert says "WTF, mate?" (from the End of the World animation - google 'end of the world', it's hillarious.) |

Can't post any right now... on work computer....er... working.  My favorite rigntone story... one of our other detectives (read NOT ME) is on scene at a death investigation. Natural causes, the family is on scene. He walks up, and his phone goes off. The ring tone? "Another One Bites the Dust"

Hold off on File 7. That is a partial file that failed on the send. Should be a File 7 and 8 coming to you as well. Sorry for the confusion. email didnt like the 22mb file 7 [peek]Okay. All these files are in .WAV format. They were done that way for Nextel series phones. And lets put this out right now. I, nor the file host, in no way support or take any credit for the ringtones supplied. These are tones I have downloaded and collected over the last few years from various sites. You download and install at your own risk. If you phone requires another format than WAV Mono 8 files... then you will have to have some other means of conversion. Sorry guys, but I cant be inundated with conversion requests.  That said... ENJOY! And a BIG THANKS to Nlinc for hosting. Thank you sir! |

Heh heh heh... Download This It's Quallcomm's PureVoice file converter. You can change MP3 to .mid, etc. Takes a little work but it's how I converted a bunch of stuff for my phone. |

The wife downloaded it off of Limewire and she had a free trial ring tone ripper that she made it with. |
O.F. that I am, the only "ring tone" I use that isn't a standard ringer is (Don't Fear) The Reaper (my deep and abiding love of Blue Oyster Cult is well-documented here ) and it only rings that way for incoming calls from family -- everything else rings normal/boring.  (If my provider hadn't given me one free download I'm sure I wouldn't even have that one...  )

Anyone know how to get ringtones on my LG 8300 with Verizon service other than using text or something like that? I don't have a cable but I do have a micro SD card with the needed USB thingy to play MP3s on the phone via the card. I had the internet service turned off on my account when my kid got me hit with a $25 extra bill for "sample" stuff. Sample my ass at $1 a pop. |
