They won't sell to the average civy. You must be mil, le, fed agency -or- certified by them as some sort of instructor.

I don't remember the cost of the guns, but the ammo is fucking expensive.

I saw some in the Streichers catalogue. I think 9mm was about $0.50 a round, and about $400 for an AR conversion kit.

My dream is to own about twenty guns and a warehouse of ammo so my friends and I could have gun battles and shoot each other. It would be fun - Schulze's Sealions vs San Antonio SWAT.

We shot these during drill's at police school.  Word of advise.  Don't shoot your teacher in the nuts when practicing armed feloney stops and he draws on you  He will chase you down and keep shooting

I know to outfit an AR it requires replacing the bolt, bolt carrier, dedicated magazine and there is a flashhider attatchment, just to indicate the conversion. It will function just like the real thing. My department uses sim guns in all live fire type training. The pistol caliber sims leave bruises but the AR sims, well, they are a little more potent.

I can ask our firearm trainers what teh conversion cost and yes, the ammo is very expensive.

I would pay 4 or 500 for a kit....ammo sounds way high though. I have an in if it's LEO only....I can always borrow it.
BTT for some more info and maybe some cut rate sim-ammo sources..

Maybe you could call the simunition companies and see if they'll sell you components. Then you could roll your own on a 550b for a lot less.
