I am trying to think of a song that I used to hear all the time when I was a kid. You'll know it immedately. I think it went like this: Heeeeey, my heart's on fire, the do run-run-run the do run-run. At best, I was about 5 or 6 when this song was popular.

Da Doo Ron Ron From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "Da Doo Ron Ron" was a 1963 hit single by The Crystals produced by Phil Spector in his Wall of Sound style. According to Darlene Love, another of Spector's recording artists, the track was originally recorded by The Blossoms, with Love herself on lead vocal. Prior to release, Spector erased Love's lead and replaced it with a vocal by the Crystals' Dolores "LaLa" Brooks, although he kept the Blossoms' backing vocals in place. Also released by the Rolling Stones in '64 |
