I always recommend buying a complete lower half, then ordering the upper you want directly. Why? Because complete rifles will almost always have heavy barrels, because they're cheaper to produce, but they add no benefit unless you're shooting full-auto (or you're having a custom target gun built from a high-end match barrel blank).
