| Is $118.00 for 500 rounds a good price for Wolf .223? |
|
I just managed to find a 500 round pack earlier today and paid $75. Not long ago I paid that for a double pack (1000 rounds) in a cardboard box at any gun show. These days it's just a matter of how bad you want it. If it goes any higher I just won't shoot my (one) AK. I can reload .223 very cheaply as I've always hoarded components and am set up to load with great speed and efficiency. I have plenty of components on hand. Plenty. |

I dont want to hijack your thread, but my friend said he quit buying Wolf because he had alot of Failure to Fires. Had this problem? I may buy a 1000 rds, and I would be pissed if I had a lot of F2F's. Thanks for the link to SG. Thats cheap stuff. I asked my local gun store, and they said $190 for 500 brass rds. I almost shit my pants... |
Just order 5k but it is backordered.

I had a lot of those in both my rifles (different brands and styles of rifles), it was very frustrating. I just ordered some brass stuff from aimsurplus about 15 minutes ago. I need to reload I guess. |

The only problem I've had with wolf is once I had another brand of ammo in a fresh mag and let it sit with one in the chamber for several minutes , after going through several hundred rounds of wolf , that a failure to eject and had to knock out the case with a cleaning rod. But if I use wolf only my AR just eats it up. |
John, don't complain about it. If you'll pay just a little bit MORE then they'll put the primers in right. HH |
