So there is a very attractive waitress at a nice pub that I frequent. My buddy has had a thing for her for a while, so i never thought to pursue said waitress. Well, my buddy tried his hand (and by 'tried his hand,' I mean got her phone number but subsequently did nothing), and has yet to have luck. He still thinks he is "working on it," but he's too much of a poontang to actually just ask her out or tell her that he likes her. On top of that, I don't think she's into him much. Soo.. considering the circumstances, what say Arfcom? Would I be a total asshole for asking her out? I think so... but my buddy knows he's not getting anywhere with her. Would you be pissed if you were my friend? |

if i was trying, and a friend jumped in and took her, i'd be livid. i've been cockblocked a couple of times... but it turns out they were both complete skanks, so i guess my buddies took a bullet(or in this case, the crab infestation) for me. keep in mind that your definition of "trying" and his may differ. go for it if you don't mind losing a friend. |
Yes to all. Lots of girls out there, find one your friend isn't interested in.  Or at least get his blessing first.
