Winner!

Also, White Castle is one of the very first fast food chains in the United States, going back to the 30s, IIRC.

They rock!

I only treat myself to them once or twice a year (I don't really eat fast food as a rule), but the taste is heavenly!!!  If health/weight was not an issue, I swear I'd eat them every single day!!!

McDonalds.
Hands down.

I have a lot of awesome memories of McDonalds. It was always a reward for something when I was a kid. I never got it frequently at all.

I do remember that it used to be a big deal when a new one would open. I remember back in 1980 when I was 4 years old, a Brand new McDonalds opened up in my neighborhood. It was literally a HUGE event. The news was there, Ronald McDonald was there(I know, it was just some doper dressed like him), and they had a big prize wheel set up where kids spun it an got free prizes. It was awesome! Free food and everything was paid for by the McDonalds Corporation.

No, I didn't live in Bumfuck Egypt, I lived in Silver Spring, Maryland! Even in 1980 it was a rapidly growing area, but today it is one of the most expensive places to live in the entire country.

It was much better back in the day. Everyone remember that they used to deep-fry the pies? MMMMMMMmmmm good! Especially with a milkshake.

A cool aside: The only decent pistol range close to me had the LAST McDonalds in the country to fry their burgers. They resisted company pressure until the last minute. They gave up in 1999, but I always went there on the way to the range.......and on the way bqack too!

Subway count?

I love Jack in the Box, but I have to drive 3 hours to get to the nearest one.

Locally I like Hardee's, although the service sucks elephant dick.

Every now and then I get a craving for McDonald's, but for the most part I can't stand eating there more than once or twice a month.

I assume by "Carls" you mean Carls Jr.?  If so, you should list that as "Carls Jr. / Hardees" - since it is known as Hardees in a large part of the US.

I wouldn't go to McDonalds if they paid me. Also not part of their "targeted culture" either and they are one of the most anti-gun companies in the country. They won't get a penny from me!

What the hell is a Carl Jr.'s?  What-A-Burger is a close second to Sonic.
Jack-in-the Box is some truly nasty shit, even for fast food.  Everything from JITB tastes like they dropped it in the fryer.

I prefer Carls Jr's for their burgers.  Their Black Angus Burgers are the best fast food burgers around.

Wendy's has the best salads.  Always fresh.  McDonalds is Crack Nasty
