Another computer problem:

I have two accounts set up on my computer, one for me and the other for my wife.  For some reason my account isn't offered any more.  I went to C Drive; Documents and Settings and saw that my account profile still exists but its no longer offered when I start up.

How do I fix this?

Is your account still listed under "User Accounts" in the Control Panel?

Go into Administrative Tools, Comptuer Management, Local Users and Groups, and look in the Users folder.  If you don't see your account there, then it has been deleted.  Since your files are still there, your profile was likely deleted out of the registry, either by a program, or by someone deleting it using REGEDIT.

I think your wife does not want you to play with computer anymore.

PS: It looks like your account is "disabled" or "locked" by an Administrator. Thus, the files are still there, but you can't log in. I would pay way more attention to my wife if this kind of thing happens.

She locked you out so you can't get rid of the evidence

If you try "logoff" does it give you the option "Log on as another user" &  is your own ID shown  there? If you try the down cursor button?

Try just typing in your own ID & PW when it 'offers' hers.  It always goes with the last user.
