I recently got an 8month old black lab... she happened to have the same name as my cat. I can't think of a single good name for a female lab... any suggestions?

Mine is named "Gator" because of the way she used to lay on the carpet, like a Gator sunning itself.

I named my dog Lamb, its easy to remember and fells good rolling off the tongue, think about it

Murderface

or

Megatron

Try giving commands to the dog using some of the names. "Murderface, down."

"Sit, Murderface!"

How about "Murderface, do you need to go outside and make teetee?"

Or, imagine there are children around: "Little Bobby - DO NOT pull Megatron's ears!"

"Sarah-sue, DO NOT aggravate Megatron while he is eating."

Hoover. I wish I would have named my Lab Hoover. He'll suck up food faster then any vacuum cleaner. Ace is his name though as in Black as the Ace of Spades.
