[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Firefox options

Does anyone know how to change it so that when you click on a link it opens in a new tab, and not a new window. My desktop does this, but my laptop does not and I do not see an option for it. Thanks

I'd like to know too.

A certain pr0n site would much be less laborious to surf if it did this.

edited to add:

OK, the above worked but it still change the focus to the new tab. Is there a way to make it not change focus to the new tab?

I go to tools- optons- and there is no "tabs". Could I have a different version or something. I know that is how i did it on my desktop. what about this version.

I thought it was like that in the old version too, I am running 2.0.2.

If you look farther down you will see a checked box that says "When I open a new link in a new tab, switch to it immediately". Uncheck it.
