I have been an Ebay customer for a few years. In the last several months I have been receiving fake emails or spoofs every other day. The most recent one was a guy who said he lived in Pennsylvania and the email address was in England. He is asking, with bad grammar and spelling about when I am going to deliver him some hubcaps and that he will be out of town for 4 days. I report it to Ebay Security and request action. As a result, I am suspended! Of course, now that Ebay has become too big for its britches, it has no telephone number to call. And, the emails are not yet drawing a response.
