I finally hit the jackpot at the gun show Saturday! I was trying to find reloading components at a decent price. I was on my way out without having much luck when I came across a guy who was apparently just wanting to get rid of what he had left. He sold me a 1000 55 gr fmj bullets for 20 bucks. I asked the price on something else on the table, and he said "10 bucks, ammo can and all". I looked down and saw a 50 cal ammo can marked "308" sitting under the table. It was packed with 530 rounds of fmj 308 reloads in remington brass and 120 rounds of military surplus 308. He also had 950 rounds of 223 fmj reloads in lake city brass that I got for 45 bucks, including 3 ammo cans. As if that wasnt enough, he threw in a ziplock bag full of 30-06 ammo for free. Not bad deal..over 1600 rounds, four ammo cans, and 2000 bullets for 75 bucks !

As we always say, "The difference between a good gun show and a bad one, is just one good deal".

Congrats.

I'm going to check a few of them for OAL, fire a few, and look for pressure signs. The cases are polished, in good condition, and bullet seating depth appears to be consistant. Even if I have to pull em apart, I'm still happy with the deal I got on components.

SCORE!

I found 2 packs of 7.5 swiss and a new hat.    Didn't score like you did but I'm damn happy to have found the ammo!

Gonna be a great deal till someone else's crappy reloads blow up one of your rifles.

There is a reason some things are cheap.

Cheap can be expensive.

Truer words were never......typed.

Reminds me of a sign I have been meaning to have made and put in my showroom.

"The bitterness of poor quality, lasts far longer than the sweetness of low price."
