Hope this isnt a dupe (probly is ) but lets go for it anyway.So what do you do everyday as far as work goes? Do you enjoy your job? I'm a student till May and hope to get a job as a lineman.

Cinnabon at the mall. Sheeple galore. 7.75 an hour for part-time, but I enjoy my fellow co-workers so it makes up for the sheeple part. Oh and the constant people who DON'T SPEAK A FUCKING WORD OF ENGLISH AND POINT AT THINGS THEY WANT!  Other than that it is ok for an "while in school job." |

I use to work in the kitchen of a Village Pantry gas station when I was 14. Then I worked for True Value Hardware when I was 15. Then I did roofing/construction when I was 16. Then I worked at CVS/Pharmacy when I was 17 or 18. Did more roofing/construction. Then I worked at Old Navy for 2 years. Right now I'm not working. I'm getting my shit together to enlist in the Marines. The best job that I had, was doing roofing/construction. Everything else had WAY too much fucking drama in it. ESPECIALLY Old Navy! Jesus Christ, that place had so much drama it gave me another fucking ulcer. |

Unemployed! I had an interview yesterday and they want to hire me. I'll be supporting a unix system that has 77,000 accounts and about 13,000 active users at any one time. I'm used to administering large systems but this will be a step up. I've been looking for about 90 days and got desperate and applied for a job at a computer store. They want to hire me too they should get the results back from my drug test today and should be calling today or tomorrow. I have bad news for them but I think they'll understand. I should be making more than twice the money at the job I interviewed for yesterday. I hope to change careers in the next few years and make knives full time. I'm starting with a blacksmith course in March. After I move sometime this year I plan to start building my shop. |

Multi-craft Maintenance for a Japanese Auto supplier. I spent 12 years in the military, 5 years with a German Machine Tool OEM, worked for an American auto supplier, a French auto supplier and a short stint with another Japanese auto supplier. Yes, I worked for the fucking French.  The Japanese, by far, treat their associates better. Zee Germans paid well but the hours and work demands were extreme. It was also difficult to work with people that were more arrogant than me.
