I'm trying to find taxable levels, cannot seem to find it on the IRS website.

Anyone have the tables of tax brackets?

Thanks, ok I have a question.

As a full time student/part time worker I made almost 15k this year.

That says I have to pay $750 and 15% of that 15k, which would be 2250.

That can't be right can it? The Fed's only took $1300 out of income tax. Is it saying I owe nearly another 1k?

I did turbo tax online and it said the Fed's owe me $400.

I'm confused

I would start over from scratch and do it by hand...
Then use the computer see what the difference is
I think you are most likely forgetting you standard deduction

Arfcom is not the place to get tax advice LOL

In before the "Well, if the flag has gold fringe then it's not an official flag so that means the 16th Amendment wasn't really ratified and wages aren't income because you're not a foreign corporation and if you send a letter to the IRS and they don't answer your question you don't have to pay because it's voluntary" crowd.

Turbotax factored in your standard deduction?  Just use TT.   Look at the standard deduction, VS. itemizing.  It's never too early to learn how to properly do your taxes.
