So I just got done listening to "One Big Holiday" from their website for about the 20th straight time, when it occurs to me that maybe I should get the album. Anyone have it, thoughts?

The first My Morning Jacket tune I ever heard was "Wordless Chorus." It was different enough to pique my interest a little bit.

I previewed the album on iTunes but only acquired a few tracks.

My Morning Jacket is one of the best active bands out today. I reccomend getting "It Still Moves" and "Z" first, and then start exploring their back catalog. The older stuff is more acoustic/country oriented, where as the newer stuff is more rock/psychadelic/experimental.

They opened for a Pearl Jam show awhile ago. I thought they were super gay.

I just couldn't stand their music.
