Looks like a big glass of bourbon to me. Hi-Power +20 (Can't go wrong there.) Smiley cup +5 (Thinking outside the box.) Use of the GI serving ware +10 (I'd never have thought of it.) Biscuits not risen enough -5 (No one likes flat biscuits.) Chili made with kidney beans -3 (Reminds me of Jr. High; there are better beans for the job. Just cause it says "Chili Beans" on the can, doesn't mean you should use them.) Over all...Nice. |
Some wars are worth fighting. Some are not. The beans-in-chili war IS. BEANS FOREVER!!!! |
but those are "Southern style biscuts" they're supposed to be like that +9 minus one for using a civillian spoon with a GI canteen cup, shoulda used a GI spoon
|
Chili without beans = sauce ETA: +10 for no napkin and +2 for high power |

bump for dinner since I'm eating left overs. Glad y'all enjoy the pic - I enjoyed making it.
I'm very impressed - No.4MkI* to be precise. And yes - those biscuits came out of a can. |
I SEE BEANS! |
Grips came with the gun - I'm getting some money together for some cocobolo grips. Bobbed hammer comes after that - shooting high thumbs, it does bite me sometimes, especially with the rubber grips. You UKers certainly have excellent taste in service handguns. My friend from Ireland was telling me the Irish Army still uses the "Browning 13 shot" as he called it. Everybody in this thread seems to really like the Hi-Power. Nobody ever really seemed to be a big fan of them on ARFcom. |
Still standard issue throughout the UK armed forces too including SPecial Forces… Does what is says on the tin, always goes 'Bang' when you pull the trigger no matter what shit it's covered in. When I move back to a 'civilized' country I'm buying myself another one… ANdy |
