[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Book Forum?!!

There are good topics on several of the forums here about books. Has anyone considered a forum for book/literature discussion? Would there be enough interest to warrant it?

Assuming you mean a sub-forum on Arfcom.

There would be less exposure because it would be slow because no one would remember to visit it.

I would love it and use it. Every book post I have ever posted in GD save one has disappeared like feces through a goose before anybody who might be interested got a chance to reply.

ETA: watch how fast this goes to page 8

I don't know... the book threads that pop up here seem to do pretty well. It might be slow at first, but I think it would gain momentum.

I would suggest more of a literature appreciation/aspiring writer's forum. You're likely to gain much more exposure by not limiting the parameters to just reader reviews and recommendations.

FWIW, I'd visit it either way.
