I was looking on skdtac.com's website at their multi camouflage hats, and the color options are "BK - KH - OD" and I can't find a picture or anything that shows the different colors. I like the OD, but I would really like to see what the KH (Khaki) color would look like. If anyone has a picture of one, please school me in! Also, could someone recommend some place where I can get some patches? I'm gonna order an ARFCOM patch for when I walk around at gunshows .

Well, I ordered the "Multicam" hat from skdtac.com... When you are about to purchase the item, there's a "COLOR" part, and the default says "BK", which to my understanding would be "Black". OD for OD Green, and KH for Khaki. Since there were no regular makings for "Multicam", I decided not to use the default "BK", because I thought that the different colors for the multicam would be multi-colors of urban camouflage or something. So, instead, I clicked on "KH", for khaki. I was thinking that it would have 3 different tones of tan/khaki coloring for the multicam. No. I received the hat today, and the whole thing is khaki. There's no "multicam" to it. So, should I just leave the default as "BK"? Their site is bare enough as it is, and there's no explanation on what the color schemes are. Has anyone else ordered one of these hats and had something similar happen? Do I just leave the goddamn thing as "BK"? I don't want a fucking BLACK hat, I want a multicam one sumbish! |

I have one in khaki, and it is definitely a coyote brown type color, not light like you typically think of khaki, which is cool. These hats rock btw. The strap on the back is cloth-covered elastic that is also velcro adjustable for size. This means that the hat wont squish your melon. I will definitely buy another when this thing wears out. |
You might have better luck ordering direct from HSGI or Crye. TAD gear might have some in stock. |

I really like SKD, but I do not like their new commerce site. Its confusing to navigate, and its possible that the price you see is not the price you pay. Im still going to order from them. Now as to the HSGI hat, first thing you have to do when you get it is remove the elastic band and replace it with either some webbing and a slide buckle, or the velcro closure from another hat. The one size fits all hat is either too tight, too loose, or not tight enough in the right spots. It gave me one hell of a headache till I modded it. Other places you can find MC ball caps are EAG and Crye. |
Yeah, I don't doubt that skd has good products, but their website neglected to state that they were out of sock of the Multicam pattern. So, I asked to receive my Return Authorization Number, and I went ahead and ordered the REAL Multicam hat from Highspeedgearinc.com, and hopefully it will be here by Monday. |
If you email them you can get a contact number. Call them and change the order for the MC if that is really what you want. ETA: since you ordered elsewhere, you might try one of the Khaki hats from SKD then. You wont be disappointed. |
I have the Khaki hat right in front of me... And I don't want it lol. Thanks though.

I see. Looks like I skipped over that little detail. |
