Did anyone else pick out what I did or am I just paranoid? There were parts where he is implementing more national security using LEO and FBI. Electronic monitoring, does this mean that carnivore is up and running strong? What about this new cabinet/ department that is being put in place?
Otherwise this was a strong speech, and I liked how he incorporated Islamic philosophies. |

Anybody else scared about this "Homeland Defense" thing? If it is anything like any other gov't program, it will serve 1 purpose- to take away our liberties.
BTW, the guy that will head it up, Tom Ridge, is my governor, is an anti-gunner: he wrote the 94 crime bill. Be VERY vigilant. |
