I've got a webcam and I need to be able to post the image on the net where I can check it from time to time to keep an eye on things from a security type standpoint. What do I need to do to accomplish this? I've obviously got a dedicated computer for it that's already online. Thanks for any help. |

You need a program that will take pics(set at a time or by motion) and store them, either to the hard drive(if you can get to it from the web) or upload them to an ftp site(again, may be what you already have). I have used an old program called Homewatcher that used to be free, but I think the company was/is up for sale. Most webcam progs have some sort of feature like this. Hope this helps.
