Has anybody seen Apocalypto, I am thinking of seeing it and heard it was not in English. Is this true?

True. Just like The Passion, Mel Gibson chose to film it in the native language of the people and time.

Haven't seen it but had a bud at the gun club say it was a good movie. I have heard it is very violent. Wish I had more specifics for you.

The movie was really well done.
Very violent yes, lots of action/blood.
Definitely setup for a sequel at the end.

Check in the Movie Forum to see if there is a thread, I think it is pretty well received and I intend on seeing it.

What would they title it? "Repocalypto?" Or maybe "Apocalypto Now?"

"Hmmm....the last written words of Joseph of Arimethea"
"Aaaaaaaaagggghhhh"
Actually, the movie language is an ancient Mayan dialect.

The Passion was. Sensibly this movie is in Mayan...seeing as how it takes place within the Mayan culture.
