Who told the singer that he can actually sing? Is this supposed to be a joke? or do people take him seriously. Hearing a billy goat get castrated with a cheese grater would sound better. |
I didn't say the band was bad. They would be awesome if they dropped the singer. |

i liked the first couple alblums, but i don't care for any of the newer stuff. i stopped listening to FM radio, because i got sick of hearing the same system of a down, disturbed, and evanescence songs over and over and over again. bring your own bomb? one of the worst songs out there, yet the radio station needs to play it at least once an hour. |
yep just looked it up Armenian decent but a couple of them were born in Lebanon |

Wow, I guess I'm the only one here that likes their music. And believe it or not, their music is very complex, you don't hear any other musicians today even attempting to play music with so many complex rhythms. For example, listen to the song Tentative at about 1 min and 40 seconds into the song it goes into a slow part. I've counted at least 3 separate rhythms that are playing at the same time that FIT TOGETHER PERFECTLY No other musicians today even attempt anything like that. Now granted a lot of their fast music and screaming doesn't require much talent, but if you listen really closely when they slow down they pull off a lot of amazing things. They have a lot of harmony too, no one hardly does that anymore either. |
Yep, I thought it was a joke at first. Some record execs thought they would put out the biggest POS they could just to see if they could force it down peoples throats. High pitched monotoned crap  There are alot of bands I don't like but that one TOPS the list.

I think the political views of the band is making lots of listeners deaf. They are good musicians who write some interesting music. However, that being said, their views/lyrics are so left, it is nuts-they are straight up commies. They were good live, but I won't buy a CD. |

I like quite a few of their songs. They can take their political views and shove em up their ass though ETA I saw an Interview they did and they are a Bunch of Fucking Assholes. Really really stuck on themselves. Especially that Darin guy or whatever his name is |
I like SOAD. I bought one of the new albums and it wasn't that great. I like the music and not the message. Toxicity and Steal This Album are the only albums IMHO worth listening to. |
