Any concerns with shooting .38 special FMJ from revolver.  I have never shot jacketed rounds from a revolver, only lead wadcutters. thanks

I have a Taurus Ultralite in  .38 SP+P. It, and all the other revolvers I have will fire anything of the proper caliber I put in them.

It's a non-issue.  Follow the usual instruction:  ammo as specified on the barrel (that is, .38, .38+P if it says so, etc.) from a reputable manufacturer.

If it's the 130 grain FMJ load that is made by a few manufacturers, it's a nice, soft-recoiling load.  It's the equivalent of the load that the military has used for years, where they use .38 revolvers (Air Force, etc.).  I think it is regular pressure (non +P), and can be shot in any .38.

Not only is it not a problem, it will probably shoot cleaner.
As long as your revolver is marked for this caliber, you should be good to go, assuming they arent some crazy high powered hand load.

Enjoy.

The UMC is my favorite plinking ammo.

Cheaperthandirt used to have it for $6/box every few months and I always ordered a couple of cases when it was on sale.

Like macro said, they will actually shoot cleaner.
No lead fouling of the barrel.
Shoot Winchester White box for practice, and the 135 Gold Dots for carry in a snubbie.

They're shit for SD but for plinking/practice they work fine.
