is anyone else invloved in making their business calea compliant? I have a few questions about what the requirements are for a small ISP who is not offering VOIP as a service.

I thought this would be a hot topic, law enforcement wanting to make it easier to intercept IP and VOIP packets from a standardized interface. It's coming you know, in May.  I have to make sure that when the FBI calls and wants information on a customer it has to be easy to get to.

I'd think this would get a better response in the 'Urban Commandos' forum, it's in the General area near the bottom of the list, just above the Survival and Reloading forums.

Or, edit the title to something like, 'Govt. Mandated Snooping Capabilities Coming Soon'.

Futuristic

P.S.  I do VoIP for a Fortune 500 IT company, and I dread CALEA just like I dreaded HIPAA.

Probably its just that not many people know what calea compliance is.
It's just luck that I know
Here's the official FBI web site for it for those who don't.
