57Strat's post about his daughter's finances made me start thinking. I'm very responsible with my money, but I think that If I was able to organize it better I would be even more prepared to save more of my money. But, I need some software... Who makes the best and easiest software to use? Only one I really know of is Quicken...HELP?!?! |

ive been using quicken since 1/26/2004 (i opened up quicken and checked my first entry )best software ever. i use it to keep track of all my finances, 401k, savings, property (i use it to track all my guns, values, SN's and stuff too...) like i can tell you that i have spent 24.1% of my income from december on guns so far. or that last month my rent was 12.4% of my income. or that i spent more then i earned in janurary, feburary, and september of this year. or that i have spent 2,682.12 on my car so far this year (payments, insurance, gas, etc etc) i spent 1780.31 on groceries so far this year. etc etc. as long as you actually use it, keep it updated (i download the data from my bank daily and keep all my receipts and update every night befoer i go to bed) then it will really help you find problem areas in your finances and help you save money. edit: hah ive only spent 80$ on haircuts this year.  |
