I was trying to explain Firefly/Serenity to a friend, so I went on Youtube looking for some clips. What I found was an AMAZING fan produced "trailer" for the whole firefly series. Full well, if they promoted Firefly like this, and gave it the network support Heroes has, and used this trailer, it would still be on. I never got to see Firefly when it was on, but Serenity was great, and I'll be picking up the Firefly DVDs as soon as I'm done grabbing all the Farscape boxed sets. Farscape is one I watched religiously, and I was more involved with the SaveFarscape campaign than most people are with their political party of choice. Damn you near-sighted network executives, damn you. |
