Can I transfer shows from my DISH Network DVR on to an Ipod video?

If you can get the files onto your PC you should be able to convert them to play on your iPod. The conversion is a possible issue.

As recommended in another thread, iLounge.com may have more info.

I've used the Videora iPod video converter (free) to encode from .avi, .mpg, .mov, .wmv,  even .rm files.  It didn't do so well with the rm files, but they were pretty low quality to begin with.  I don't know anything about DVR's, so this is assuming you get it to a standard format on your computer.

The trickiest was the aspect ratio of the BBC series The Office, but once I figured out how to set it that was no problem, either.

If this is part of deciding whether to get the video iPod, I've enjoyed mine very well.
