I walked into a new gun range to shoot and had to show my Wilson Combat customized Colt Combat Commander (which I call my Wilscon Combat Commander) to the range officer. When he first saw the beautiful TulipWood grips contrasted on the deeply blued frame he exclaimed "Oh, is that a new Kimber?". I litterally almost choked on all the air I swallowed!

I know alot of people love them. Of course, I would never own a Glock or H&K P7 either. If I wanted a 9mm (which I don't) I would get a Hi-Power. A gun should be beautiful. All my Remingtons have checkered wood stocks instead of synthetic too. Call me Old-Fashioned or even plain-silly but, I can't appreciate the lines of some of the newer inventions in firearms.
