I woke up today at 5 pm because I will be working a graveyard shift this weekend. Anyway, as soon as I got up and turned on my lights, my neighbor knocked on my door. He told me around noon, he witnessed two black girls in a white van drive over my front lawn, through my fence, and drive it into my backyard. He said they got out and ring my door bell. Then my neighbor went out to ask them what they were doing, they made up some story about meeting a Mr. Brown but that he was not home, so they left. They drove back over the fence and destroyed some of my landscaping (rocks, bricks, shrubs, etc). Thankfully, my neighbor got their license plate number. I'm currently waiting to hear back from the police on the matter. My guess is that they were planning on robbing my house, thinking I was not home because my lights were not on, but my neighbor scared them off. It's possible if it weren't for him, they might have broken into my house while I was home. |

Driving over a fence didn't strike anyone as serious...including the police???

no, a couple months ago someone broke into my car and stole my stereo while parked at my house, and also tried to break into my shed. I also saw suspicious people hanging around across the street from my house that walked away when I got home from work, so I suspected they were casing my house. |

Tell him if you see them again you're going to kill them. Patrols will probably be stepped up on your street.
