Bi-partisan...shit...I thought that was uber-sexy chicks that swing both ways and fight against foreign invaders behind enemy lines.

yea..and i dont get it. the republicans pissed around with their majority for years. seemingly almost going out of their way to avoid conflict. somehow, i dont expect we'll see that same hesitation from the dems.

And it always has. One thing the Dems have always had was the skilll to work weak-kneed cunt RINOs into playing things the Dems' way.

Nope. And you can bet they're gonna fry some ass, or at least try real hard.

This may not actually be too bad. If the dems really fuck things up, and they are a rather splintered party, this may help the GOP come 2008 elections. I don't like it, but I'm trying to find a silver lining.

ie: Maybe they will get nothing done and/or really fuck things up and get trashed in the prez elections.

The stupid Republicans already were bipartisan, they could have done a lot from 2000 to 2006, but all they did was line their pockets.

I thought the new codewords were:

Hearings
Inquiries
Impeachment
Entitlements
"New direction" (Read as RETREAT)
Multilateral Talks - (Read as "talk to Il-Sung while he sells off nukes)
Deficit Reduction - (Read as TAX HIKES)
"New Direction" - (Read as STAGNATION, INNACTION, FILIBUSTER)

Thankfully they'll make it so FUBAR that come 2008 they don't stand a chance. GOP will own DC for the next 20+ years.
