I am considering seious Digital Photography, what is the best way to liquidate used equipment? It is all Nikon - 8008S Body, FM2 Body, SB25 speedlight, (3) AF NIKKOR lenses and a bunch of misc stuff. It is all like new but what do you do with it? I have always used Nikon but it appears as if Canon is rather good also. What do you think Canon or Nikon?

Not sure on liquidating your Nikon equipment, but since you've already invested in Nikkor glass why not just pick up a Nikon digital SLR?

Nikon and Canon are both good choices.

Keep the glass. I believe Nikon builds "backward compatability" into their digital cameras, and your older AF lens' should yet be of use:perhaps the SB25 also. As for the 8008s and FM2 - why not hold onto them? They're still fine for the photographic roles which they were designed. ( Especially the manual, non battery dependent FM2! )

Thanks for the replys, I had to laugh at myself as I have never noticed the Photo Section here before.
I will probably keep the 8008S but the FM2 will have to go. I got the FM2 about the time my eyes were going downhill (I just hadn't accepted the fact) and I really couldn't do much good with it. Upon accepting the fact, I went to the 8008S for the autofocus.
Thanks again.
