[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Windows XP SP2 Question

I updated my system from 98 to XP SP2 and now my window has about an inch of black border on the left and right sides. I tried updating my drivers for display adapter and monitor to see if that would help, but it determined I had the most recent driver.

Is there a setting I need to change?

I sure appreciate the help!!!!

you have to use the menu of your monitor itself.
it has vertical and horizontal size adjustments.

Readjust your monitor settings... The physical buttons on the monitor.

What is your resolution set to? Try 800x600 and go from there. You can also adjust the monitor by using the buttons on the front of the monitor. Hope this helps. Moto

Glad it was simple. It had been forever since I touched those buttons to change anything.
