alright, so last couple days i've felt a dull pain in my groin region. noticed tonight while checking myself that there is a small lump on my right testicle. it does hurt. i equate it to feeling like a swollen lymph node *spelling?* and now i'm asking y'all if you've had anything like this happen or have advice - yes, i'm scheduling a doc appointment asap, but the idea of having some doc feeling me up isnt that great / plus needles suck

ive head guys compain of something similar to this before. Basically its where you just have a vein in your nuts get twisted and the blood starts backing up the line. It didnt sound too serious or life threatening and i think they said it went away on its own. I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND THAT YOU SEE A DOCTOR though because you never know. But since you have a doctors appointment already set up then i would say dont worry about it untill then, youre doing the right thing. and i know whats in the back of your mind that you dont want to ask... dont worry, its probably not testicular cancer. |
Worth having checked out but you would be a very young candidate for Testicular Cancer. |

I had the exact same thing about 3 years ago. Went to the doc (Colorado) and he thought it was testicular contusion (twisted nut) He said no big deal. Got so friggin bad at the begining of this year I went to my old doc (Iowa) and he said I had a hernia. Turns out I had a double (both sides) indirect inguinial hernia. Those are the ones inside not the little poke-out kind. Had the surgery and all is better. I'm no doc I just know what I went through. If it turns out to be an ingunial hernia I feel for ya. The surgery wasn't fun, expecially having both done. Good luck. |
mm, your mom noticed it well enough without her reading glasses.... but yeah, i dont really mind if its cancer - its what i have to go through (surgery, needles, possible chemo) that i dread... haha and just when i was having luck with the ladies - some 18th birthday... alright, 2 weeks ago, but still counts |
this lump is ON the right testicle, close to those chords *dont remember the exact name*. i thought hernias were in the muscles surrounding the scrotum? |
