OK, I take an .SHN file, and convert it to .WAV with the MKW compression tool. Trouble is, my file is still a ridiculously large >1g for just one concert if I begin with an .SHN. SO, is there a tool out there that will take these .WAV files with a sampling rate of 1411(WOW!)kbs and make them into sane, but still quality .MP3 files with a bit rate of 256 or higher? THANKS! |
Yes. That's what MP3 (and other) compression is all about. WAV files are raw audio at worst, PCM compressed at best. winlame.sourceforge.net/ is what you want. Free audio compression tool. |
