*18 September 2006: In an article provided exclusively to the Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press by Dr. Paul Williams and Mr. David Dastych on Saturday, “final preparations have been made for the next major attack on the US” identified as “American Hiroshima,” suggesting the attack will be nuclear in nature. Since we published that report, confidential sources in law enforcement positions have privately confirmed to the Northeast Intelligence Network that a "disturbing trend" is being reported on both of our borders – a pattern that is consistent with a potential nuclear attack scenario against the US. According to these sources, a "significant and alarming number" of illegal aliens attempting entry into the US, caught by border patrol agents, have been found to be carrying Potassium Iodide tablets, which are used to protect against exposure to radiation in emergency situations.* According to our sources, the illegal aliens who have been caught have been described as OTMs (other-than Mexicans), and consist primarily of Chinese and Iranian nationals on our southern border, and Asians and others from a variety of Middle Eastern countries at the US-Canadian border. This just received TerroristWarning.com Situation Update 09/20/2006 # 1 TW Editor - Situation Update- KI Pills On the Border On 09/17 we sent out a special request to our law enforcement members for information that would either corroborate or dispell reports that illegal border crossers were being seen in posession of Potassium Iodide 'radiation pills'. Corroboration would have been significant, because one could reasonably infer that if border crossers are bringing this type of protection with them across the border it would presumably be because they were aware of, or planning some form of radiological event. If it were actually happening we think our readers ( and everyone else) has a right to know about it, and to prepare for what it means. Some have said that perhaps border crossers had these pills thinking they were the same as 'salt pills' for crossing the desert areas, or because they might be used to fight some diseases, but I find that unlikely. Here is what we found (didn't find): Every law enforcement individual we spoke to, or who emailed us, was unable to corroborate these reports, even off the record. Numerous associates made inquiries with their own contacts, and all reports came back negative. We didn't even get responses from officials who were saying they 'can't confirm or deny' the reports, instead the responses were that the reports are flat out incorrect. Eventually we managed to speak with the Washington D.C. office of the United States Border Patrol. USBP Spokesman Mr. Xavier Rios confirmed for us today that the USBP "has not made any arrests of illegal border crossers in possession of potassium iodide radiation pills" period. Aside from the brutal elevator music I endured while waiting on hold, the folks at USBP were very friendly and helpful, even though TerroristWarning.com does not have typical press credentials. While we originally set out to corroborate these reports we now have no choice but to consider these reports unsubstatiated. Everything we have seen, heard, and read from offiicial sources indicates the reports are false. We don't expect you to take our conclusion as the final word, if you know someone involved in border enforcement we encourage you to ask them privately and draw your own conclusions. If you come up with something different, please let us know. Does a denial from the USBP mean something isn't really happening? We think you should decide that for yourself. If we become aware of additional verifiable information we will include it in a future edition.
