Is it legal to install on your own computer to monitor your wife?

And can someone recommend a hardware version?

I installed a software keylogger to keep up with the wifes little "myspace" page.

Who cares if it's illegal.

If you dont trust your wife or need to check in on her like that, why stay married?

he may not feel like giving 50% of his assets to her, when if she is committing infidelity, he may have a way to keep more?

When in doubt, throw it out.

find out what she is up to, you may be surprised. I was. Married women are becoming increasingly drawn out by internet affairs. It happened to me so I did some research and was shocked to see how many men and women are living secret lives. BTW, my wife divorced me and still carries on her internet relationship that she had when we were married, to this day. It may or may not be anything but it does'nt hurt to find out.

To actually answer the question, NO, it is not illegal to install a keylogger on your own, or a jointly owned computer.
