There was a briefing followed by some Q&A a while back.

A reporter from the pool addressed him as "Sir", el jeffe looked at him, smirked, and asked... "Who are ya talkin to??"

As much as I hate the bastard, I at least had the respect of office to refer to the previous occupant of the White House as "President Klinton".

ETA: I think the current crop that call him "Mr Bush" are from the "he stole the election, twice" crowd. Pay them no mind because they are generally delusional.

Yes, it's still President Clinton, but it has always been Mr. Bush, or more often, Bush.

I keep waiting for someone to call him shrub on national news.

In print only, you are supposed to refer to him as 'president' the first time his name appears. Subsequent references in the same article refer to him as 'Mr.'. In person, he should always be called 'president' but those fucking journalists have no respect.
