I'm 3/4 through Buchanan's book State of Emergency. I started it right after Domestic Enemies: The Reconquista. DE:TR really set up my mind for this book. The news media and .gov aren't telling us 1/10 of the truth with illegal aliens and the movement to reclaim our southwest for Mexico. One way or another, this situation is going to turn into a huge boatload of crap before it's over. And most people don't want to be bothered by it.  |

the us needs to start getting some return from mexico so american culture can develop there. with some guarantee of reasonable safety, i'm sure thered be americans willing to live there. retired seniors enjoying the warm weather and beachfront property wouldnt even need jobs. im completey against illegal immigration, but it seems likely to continue. part of my thinking now is to find ways to personally benefit from it. at some point in the future, there will likely be significant opportunity there. |

Phoenix is already 52% Hispanic. Based on professional opinion, I would guess that only 30-35% of that number are Americans of Mexican, Latin or Spanish decent. ETA: Also in my professional opinion, whoever made-up the number of 11 million illegal immigrants is about 10 million short. Tucson Sector of the USBP is apprehending about 1k a month. It's unbelievable how we don't do more to stop illegal immigration, especially given the magnitude of the problem. You've heard the explanations and excuses but do you believe them? This could be another example of the growing influence of corporations and the top 1% on our society. While illegal immigration doesn't benefit the bottom 99% it does help keep wages down which has helped US businesses rake in record profits. Today's NY Times has an article which mentioned that this is the first time since WWII that wages didn't go up during a time of sustained economic growth and also that wages didn't go up even though worker productivity went up. Part of this could be due to globalization but given the large number of illegal immigrants they have to be having an effect on wages in the US. |
Ummm, the bottom of the chain has always been the voting majority. But media consolidation is also happening so more and more of the media you see is being controlled by fewer and fewer people, so they can influence how the voting majority votes. Come 2008 illegal immigration will probably be an issue but after the election nothing will be done about it. |

You are simply a fool if you do not believe illegal immigration is a MAJOR disaster for our country. Instead of solving the problem of Americans no longer being able to be competitive in the world market; we allowed millions of these people to flood here to pump the arm of "cheap" labor. What really amazed me is how the events and trends in Buchanan's book are paving the way for the situation in Bracken's Domestic Enemies. While we watch this stuff happening we must do two things: 1. Do everything in our power to reverse it and reestablish our national security and national sovereignty. 2. Prepare for the worst, which will happen unless somebody like Tancredo gets in the White House. How best to prepare? Obviously, preparations will have to be tailored to specific areas. For example, different measures would have to be taken in New Mexico, vs a place like South Carolina. |

The ultimate game plan is the creation of a North American Union, encompassing the US, Canada, and Mexico. The corporate/goverment leaders at the top will benefit greatly, but it will be the end of the midde class in this country. Most people don't know what is happening, and many of those who do either don't care or support it. Some fools are so short sighted that they think they will profit from it. BTW, a new country will need a new Constitution. And it won't have a meaningful Bill of Rights. |
All that will take is a few more Ds in the senate, and a little help frem our RINO friends McCain and Co. , and the Dems taking the house. I dunno bout yall, but realizing that about half those illegals side with the militant action of taking back "aztlan", and surely at least 3 - 5 mil of them would take serious action. Thats a large insurgent army within our borders. Just look at what happened recently in Kali- they protested outside a US POST OFFICE, raise the MEXICAN FLAG--IN FRONT OF COPS--harrassed the crowd---and nothing happend to them. NOTHING. That is a pretty serious, egregious offence to commit in a country, especially if that is "the country you fought so hard to get to so U CAN HAVE THE JOBS AMERICAN WORKERS DONT WANT" or a "BETTER LIFE". The word is out - they arent here for a better life, they are here to steal the southwest back. They are comig here and shitting on the US. Not only are they spitting in our face. They are getting away with it, under the guise of liberal support, a media love affair, and the fact that they can somehow now pull out the racist card. Its beyond out of control. |
Also, the average person who doesn't dig for information and thinks watching the CBS Evening News keeps him up to date on current events is totally unaware of this. Thus, many people are oblivious to what's going on around us. Then there are those who are wrapped around the axle with their cluttered lives and don't want to know because it is unpleasant to think about. |
It's not about what people look like. It's about millions of people flooding into this country while retaining loyalty to their country of origin. It is about millions of people coming here with no interest in becoming American or assimilating into our culture. This will change much bigger things than just how we look. Being concerned with that is superficial and trite. These trend are Balkanizing our country. What bonds a nation together are defined borders, a common language, and a shared culture. The modern form of "multiculturalism" has served to divide people. If you consider yourself a patriotic American, it is your duty to educate yourself on this situation. The country our kids will grow up in depends on it. |
