| We are getting ready to connect with DSL at work (finally!), we have a small 5 desktop WinXP network. We down our computers every night and we don't have a server that needs to be connected to the outside world nor do we have any need to connect to our network remotely, we just need to have outbound access the web. I need a plug & play firewall solution to prevent any access to our server & work stations while on line during the busness day. Don't need wireless. We have a 5 port 3COM switch that is full. Looking at a Netgear FVS318, is this what I need to do the job? Need to leave some opening for future technology expansion as well. Tnx. |
where in the world are you reading that. i've installed numerous wrt54g's on both dsl and cable connections with no issues |
Well I guess one reason is we haven't been lookingat their Wireless models. We're all wired network. |
